A career built on
clarity and craft

My career started in one of the most demanding editorial environments imaginable, editing and publishing the official journal and manual for the Navy Fighter Weapons School, TOPGUN (Yes, that TOPGUN). That experience instilled something that has driven every role since: the belief that great communication is never accidental. It is built with discipline and intention.

From there, I served as Marketing Manager for the largest computer reseller in San Diego and Editor-in-Chief of the San Diego Computer Journal, directing editorial operations for a regionally distributed B2B technology publication at a time when the industry was rewriting itself in real time. That early-career foundation, rigorous editorial standards, audience-first thinking, and the ability to translate complexity into clarity became the core of everything I've done since.

Over the following two decades, I've led marketing and communications at a high-net-worth financial services firm, directed all messaging strategy for a large faith community, shaped the brand identity of a women's luxury retailer, and guided authors and publishers through the full editorial lifecycle at a national self-publishing house. Each chapter has added a different dimension to how I think about brand, audience, and growth.

Today, through Kaleidoscope Marketing, I bring that depth to founder-led businesses and boutique firms that are ready to stop improvising their marketing and start building something that works. I design the system. I don't operate it because the best outcome is a business that can own its own growth.
